Our client was employed as the head groom at a horse riding school. She suffered a severe and disabling injury to her knee when, as she walked across a paddock at the riding school, a loose horse galloped into her at high speed.
The effects of the injuries were such that she suffered an extensive absence from work and is now restricted in her ability to ride and perform manual work.
Shaw and Co Solicitors' Equestrian Solicitor won the claim for compensation after the horse riding accident. A substantial sum of compensation was agreed in relation to the value of her injuries and a claim for both past and future loss of earnings.
